Pedigree Information

Sire:  Ch. U-Ch. Amethyst's Sparkling MacEdan, MH, RN, CGC, TDI (MacE)
Dam:  Ch. Brynadda's VB Madeline (Maddee)

This litter should produce superb hunting dogs as well as great companions for show, obedience and rally venues.  MacE is Amethyst's first Master Hunter Gordon and is out of Ch. Glen Oaks' Firedance o' Amethyst (Fire) and BIS Puppy Ch. Clansmen 'n' Amethyst Hi Ground (Asti).  He is OFA Good.  He combines the Clansmen, MacAlder, Glen Oak, Black Anvil and Gordon Hill dogs in his pedigree.

Maddee is out of Am/Can/Australian/NZ Ch. Tri-Seter Ebonie Nirvana (Nirvana) x Amethyst Aberlour o' Autumn (Abby).  Nirvana won the 2003 GSCA National Specialty and is also the father of River, Jack, Flame, Sydney, and Blue as well as Maddee's brother, Dugan, who finished his championship as well.  Maddee's grandfather is a Ch. Glen Oak's Maltese Falcon, MH, CD (Hawk) who was a wonderful hunter. Madee is OFA Good.

Pedigree Information

BISS Ch. MBIS U-Ch. Glen Oak's River Breeze Shiraz (River)has been bred to Amethyst Snowfire, JH (Reagan).  Reagan is out of Ch. Hernwood's Crystal Snowfall and Trial by Fire o' Amethyst.  This litter is co-bred with Madison Kennedy in North Carolina.  For information on the litter contact Peggy DaValt at 920.623.4715 or 608.658.3779 or Karen Kennedy, DVM, at 336.558.4022 or by e-mail.

This litter has a bit of English (UK) lines as well as some well-known Australian lines.  Reagan is a half-sister to Twister, (Ch. Amethyst's Stormin' Back 'n' Time) whose litter out of River from last year has produced Drifter who has a leg on his JH title, AKC show points, a Best in Sweepstakes, a Best in Show Puppy (UKC) and a wonderfully biddable temperament.  The people that have Drifter's siblings tell me that their pups are equally as sweet and loving.

Reagan earned 4th place  in open bitch class at the 2007 GSCA National Specialty.  She was handled exquisitely by her owner and junior handler, Madison Kennedy.  Madison spent a summer here in Wisconsin with me in 2006.  We had a blast and Madison learned some of the fine art of showing dogs.  She also earned Best Junior honors at a specialty when she was in Wisconsin in 2006 and she returned to Wisconsin for the 2007 National and at the Great Lakes Independent Specialty earned Best Junior.

Here are a couple photos of the proud dad and mom.  To see puppies....click here.
